As unforunate as this case outlines it clearly demonstrates how personal litigation can be implemented through several lines of responsibility. In this case the Master was the sixth defendent in line however the line of responsibility ultimately passed to him. Valid Teaching Qualifications such as a Nationally Recognised Sports Coaching Certification increases the awareness of duty of care and risk management and the general policy implemented in the training of instructors. To Minimize future risk exposure in any potential future case of litigation ISDA reccomends the following points as protection for the instructor:

3. The Awareness That Martial Arts Certification is not an accepted or legally valid Teaching document under Austrlian Law.
